Every time I had to make a macrame bracelet or necklace I had to use safety pins on my trousers (ouch!), find pillows small round or half cylindrical shaped with hard stuffing and had to come up with various ways and methods to achieve certain results every time. You got the idea I think, since you ‘ve been there and you can understand what I am talking about. After this all creative mess being repeated for, I do not know how many times, came that moment that I said enough is enough!
So, I decided to search and find what I needed exactly for that job. A lightweight, yet sturdy crafting table. Not very big, neither small. With rulers on it, both vertically and horizontally, to be able to use them in any position I work with it, as it suits me. The working surface had to be soft/hard enough and stable with measuring lines and points, such to be used to secure my work with pins again and again.

Soon I realized that there was no other way to satisfy my creative “madness” than to create the item as I wanted it. And so I did! After combining all the specs above into a new item designed by The Knitting ClubTM of course, the product is now ready and proudly made in Greece.
We managed to make a beautifully crafted, high quality item, which is exceptionally sturdy and practical for the job.
